No sign-in, no account, no server of ours; the only request goes to the exchange-rate API with currency codes.

Scope

This privacy policy applies to the Android app “RateKey: Currency Converter” (package com.bluewhales.ratekey, called RateKey on this site), published on Google Play by ITeddy. It explains what the app collects, why, who it is shared with, and how you can have it deleted. It matches the Data safety section of the app’s Google Play listing.

What stays on your device

RateKey has no sign-in, no user profile and no server of ours. The amounts you enter, recently used currency pairs, widget settings and cached rates are stored only on your device and are removed when you uninstall the app. Your home currency is inferred locally from the device’s region setting.

What we collect

No personal data. The app includes no analytics, advertising, attribution or crash-reporting SDK.

Third-party services

Exchange rates come from the Frankfurter API. Requests contain only the currency codes needed and no user identifier or personal information; as with any network request, the provider may keep standard server logs such as IP addresses under its own policy.

Permissions

  • Network: the only permission requested, used solely to fetch exchange rates. No location, camera, contacts, storage or other sensitive permissions are requested.

Retention and deletion

Data stored on the device is removed when you uninstall the app. Server-side data you can ask us to delete: We hold no data about you, so there are no server-side records to delete; uninstalling the app clears all local data.

To request deletion, email dola724gg@gmail.com and mention the app name “RateKey: Currency Converter”. We handle requests within 30 days. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in system settings at any time.

Security

All network traffic uses HTTPS or an equivalent encrypted connection. We never store your photos, documents or payment details on servers of our own.

Children

The app is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; if we learn we have done so, we delete it promptly.

Changes to this policy

Updates are published on this page with a new version date; material changes are also noted in the app’s release notes.
